I-Yueh Co., Ltd. was established in 1994 by Mr. Li King Mu.
In 1985, the global spread of the AIDS virus led to a sudden surge of patients, causing a shortage of medical supplies worldwide. Among these supplies, medical gloves were particularly scarce. To address this urgent need and combat the spread of the AIDS virus, a production line for surgical gloves was established in Da-an, Taichung, in 1987. The purpose was to provide medical supplies quickly and steadily to the market.

In 1994, to offer customers more comprehensive warehousing services, a new factory was established, and I-Yueh was subsequently founded. This marked a new chapter in the company's history.

In 1996, a production facility was established in Indonesia to enhance production capacity and ensure a stable supply.

Initially thriving in the Taiwanese medical glove market, I-Yueh gradually turned to imports due to the passage of time and environmental factors. To address raw material and labor shortages and ensure industry survival, the company transferred its production center to Indonesia in 1996, where the founder's 30 years of manufacturing expertise and a partnership with a prominent Malaysian company for technical collaboration and innovation led to automated production lines and higher quality medical gloves for customers.

Expanding the production line in Indonesia, the company ensured both production capacity and quality, supplying the market with two major products: natural latex gloves and NBR synthetic rubber gloves.

As of now, I-Yueh has established two factories and operated diligently to achieve stable development. We have obtained the ISO9001 quality management system, ISO13485 excellent medical device manufacturing certification, and GMP excellent manufacturing certification. The product quality has been praised by domestic and international customers.

Since relocating production to Indonesia, I-Yueh has maintained close cooperation with its Indonesian factory to ensure the provision of high-quality products and services. While viewing Taiwan as the foundation of the market and a base for product research and production equipment improvements.

To promote various medical products in international markets and increase brand recognition, I-Yueh established its own brands, "PROTOS" and "TAYU," in 1998. These brands allow customers to recognize high-quality products from I-Yueh.

"PROTOS" is a premium medical glove supervised by a team of Taiwanese elites, and "TAYU" is a professional manufacturer of disposable plastic gloves and related plastic bag products, made in Taiwan. Additionally, we offer PVC plastic examination gloves, providing users with different options.

Through years of honest management and trust from the medical system, our PROTOS glove series has gained over 80% market share in Taiwan's medical institutions and clinics, and 60% in the food, catering, and industrial markets. This solid market presence has garnered support from users.

As medical consumables are very diverse, a single glove product is no longer sufficient to meet market demand. In addition to examination gloves and surgical gloves, we now manufacture medical masks and have developed sterilization tube bags. We are actively developing diversified products in response to uncertain market competition, hoping to enter the medical consumables industry in a broader and more comprehensive manner, providing more services to the public.
